Welcome to Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer!

Prayer is at the heart of our relationship with God. Do you struggle to pray, or do you long for a deeper prayer life? Join us to learn the essentials of fruitful prayer through this study by Fr. Mark Toups of Ascension Press. Participants will have opportunities to practice what they learn and discuss their experiences with others.

Large- and small-group discussions will be led by Deacon Scott; JB and Mary Beth McGuire; and David Benner. We will draw on the wisdom of the saints and the time-tested prayers of the Catholic Church. You will learn how to lift your prayers to God, hear His voice, and overcome common difficulties in prayer.

Oremus (Õ-rÃ-mus) is an eight-session study from Ascension Press beginning Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 10:45 a.m., immediately following the 9:30 a.m. Mass, in Room B of the Conmy Center.
